Reconnecting with Your Sensual Self with Ev'Yan Whitney

Listen above, on Apple Podcasts or Spotify

Hello Beautiful Humans!

This week I’m sharing another interview from my Radical Self-Acceptance as Activism series I hosted in collaboration with the Seattle Public Library!

For this episode I got to speak with Ev’Yan Whitney, a Sexuality doula®, sex educator and sensualist. Ev'Yan is dedicated to sex education and sexual activism for women and non-binary folks, helping individuals reclaim their unique sexual expressions and reconnect to their sensual bodies. Their work focuses on decolonizing, unshaming, and liberating sexuality at the intersection of identity, pleasure, and embodiment.

In this conversation, we get into:

  • The often misunderstood differences between sensuality and sexuality

  • Reclaiming your sexuality for yourself (and not the male gaze or public consumption)

  • How to tap into your pleasure potential

  • Holding space for the experience of your sensuality and sexuality

  • Why pleasure is the answer and a radical act

  • How to tap into the wisdom of the body

  • Sensual practices to help you become more sexually liberated and at home in your body

And a little reminder—If you are enjoying the podcast, please drop us a review over on Apple Podcasts, subscribe and share on social media (or with a friend)! It goes so far in helping us spread our message to like-minded folks.

Thank you and XO!❤️
